Phone addiction can be said smartphone addiction in which one use smartphone or other screenic device excessively or compulsively  which interface their daily life activities negatively . In today's world phone addiction is mass issues among peoples . Mostly population is addicted to the mobile . Many peoples uses smartphone for their work , many for their jobs , for their business and many peoples for their fun activity . Although in modern generation and as per the time evolved usage of mobile phones are become necessary in technology field . Now phone is become the part of our lives as without cells phone life would be hard in various aspect. but phone is also dangerous in various aspect  so we have to limit it and set boundaries around phone use as phone addiction can have negative impacts on mental and physical health, including increased stress, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and decreased productivity. It can also affect relationships with friends, family, and coworkers. If left unaddressed, phone addiction can become a serious problem that requires professional help to overcome. Phone addiction can effect our mental health and physical health drastically if we wouldn't put stop on it . 



Signs and symptoms of phone addiction

1- Checking phone again and again 


2- Ignoring work and other responsibility due to phone usage


3- Using the phone during meals


4- Feeling irritated or agitated when the phone is not nearby


5- Difficulty completing tasks due to phone distraction.


6- Experiencing eye strain, headaches, or neck pain due to prolonged phone use.


7- Difficulty sleeping due to phone use before bedtime.



We have to set every day pause on using social media and cell phone . In children and adolescent phone usage are increasing as it is source of fun , time pass and pleasure but it can effect them very badlyLimiting phone usage in children and adolescents can be challenging, but it's important to establish healthy habits early on to prevent phone addiction and promote healthy
